Job offer for a logistics checker turned out to be a reshipping scam
Something felt off about it so I did some research online. Turns out this is a known scam. I wanted to put this out there so if anyone else hears from them they know what it really is. The number they called from was (502) 512-6693 and the email was [email protected]. They also listed an address at 209 Saint Clair St Unit 403 in Frankfort, KY. Just a heads up if they reach out to you.
Job offer to reship packages from home feels like a scam
They also said the company is called Moventra and it’s based in Europe but now in the United States. The phone numbers they gave were (502) 519-9114 and (502) 610-0060. I talked to a Cristina and a Denise. The emails were [email protected] and [email protected].
It felt strange so I looked it up. Pretty sure it’s a reshipping scam. I didn’t lose any money but I didn’t go any further with it. Just wanted to report it.
