Got a threatening call from a "Mr. Davis" about a claim

I got a phone call from someone saying he was Mr. Davis. He had a claim number and said there had been multiple attempts to contact me at my home. Because of this so-called failure, he said they were going to call my place of employment.

He gave me a phone number to call. I called it, and so did my husband. It would just ring and ring, nobody ever answered. The number that called me only showed a 223 area code, nothing else. The number used to call my husband was (252) 216-4732.

I tried to look up these numbers. When I searched online, no company comes up for any of them. Not the 223 number, not the 252 number, and not even the number left on my voicemail, which was 855-861-2528. Nothing. It just feels off.
