Letter with a $1000 check and no real explanation

I got a letter in the mail from My Home Armor with a check for $1000. Check number Hlo317882. It came with addresses and emails for people named jadams and sburnett at myhomearmor.com. The address on it was 11921 Freedom drv two fountain square ste 550, Reston, VA 20190.

I didn't ask for this and I don't know what it's for. There's a phone number too, (844) 738-3047. It just seems off. Why would someone send me a check out of nowhere like that.

I didn't lose any money but I wanted to report it because it doesn't feel right.

Letter asking if I still own my home after 6 years

Got a letter from these people at 11921 Freedom Dr. Two Fountain Square Ste 550, Reston, VA 20190. They sent a voucher for $1000 and wanted me to call them right away at (888) 505-0842 about some home warranty thing.

The letter asked if I still own my home after being here 6 years. That felt weird. They emailed from [email protected] but I never asked for anything from them.

I didn't lose any money but the whole thing seems off. Just a fake invoice or bill type of thing I guess.
