Signed up for health insurance online but it was not insurance at all

I was looking for health insurance online and this company called me. They said they could give me health care coverage in my area for a reasonable fee. They said it was an off-brand provider, not Blue Shield or Blue Cross, but still effective and would work in my area.

So I signed up. I made sure to tell them this was for medical, dental and vision insurance and needed to work at Dignity Health Care providers here. They said it would. The next day I was talking to another insurance company and they told me it was probably a scam. So I went on their website myplanassitance.com and saw it was not insurance at all. It was some other type of service that was not what I paid for.

I lost $306.95. I am still trying to cancel and get my money back.
