Letter about dead relative's money with no real details

Got a letter in the mail from this company, MZ Legal Office. It says they're looking for relatives with my last name to claim $10,800,020.00 from someone who died 4 years ago. The address is 3660 Hurontario St Suite 604 in Mississauga, ON. Their email is [email protected] and the phone number on it is 1(226) 640-3965.

The whole thing just feels off. They didn't even name the person who supposedly died, just said they share my last name. If it was real, wouldn't they give more details? I didn't send them anything or call, but I wanted to flag this.

Didn't lose any money, but it seems like a foreign money exchange scam of some kind. Just weird they'd send something like this out of nowhere.

Letter about money left intestate from a relative

I got a letter in the mail from this place, MZ Legal Office. They have a website and everything, www.mzlegaloffice.com. The address on it was 3660 Hurontario Street in Mississauga, ON. There was also an email, [email protected].

The letter was saying that a large amount of money was left intestate, and that I would be a relative. It just didn't make any sense to me. I've never heard of this law office before in my life.

They gave a phone number too, (226) 640-3965. I didn't call it. Something felt off about the whole thing. It's a foreign money exchange type of scam, I guess. I didn't lose any money to them, but I wanted to report it.

Letter about money exchange from fake law office

We got this letter in the mail the other day, postmarked from Houston Tx. on 8/17/26. It was from some place called MZ Legal Office with an address in Mississauga, ON. They had a website listed too, www.mzlegaloffice.com, and an email [email protected].

It was about foreign money exchange or something like that. Honestly it didn't make much sense to me. I thought it might be a scam right away so I looked up the guy's name online and found your website. Good thing I checked because this whole thing feels off. The phone number on the letter was 1(226) 640-3965. I didn't call it. Just wanted to report what happened.

Letter from a fake lawyer about money I never heard of

I got this letter in the mail. It was addressed to my sister but it came to my house. The letter says it’s from a law office in Canada, MZ Legal Office. They have a website and everything, www.mzlegaloffice.com, and an address on Horontario St in Mississauga. The phone number is (825) 402-5055 and the email is [email protected].

This is the third letter I’ve gotten like this. Two were from different lawyers in different Canadian provinces. This latest one had a US stamp but no postmark, which felt strange. I looked up one of the lawyers from the earlier letters and found out he’s a real person whose identity got stolen. I have no idea if the other two are real or fake.

I didn’t lose any money but this whole thing is confusing and kind of creepy. I don’t even know what foreign money exchange they’re talking about.

Got a strange message about a life insurance payout I never heard of

I got a message from MZ Legal Office. They said there's a permanent life insurance policy from some stock broker and retired CPA. They claim it has a "Payable on death" amount of over ten million dollars.

They're proposing to give 10% to charity and then split the remaining 50% of what's left. It came from their website mzlegaloffice.com and the phone number (825) 402-5055. Their address is in Mississauga, Canada. The whole thing just felt off. I never signed up for anything like this.
