It said "Hi, this is Stacy Barber calling from National Asset Management in regards to a civil complaint that has been filed against either you, your social or someone associated with this phone number. I need an immediate call back from either you or your legal representative today at telephone number 833-795-5753 again that telephone number is 833-795-5753. Good luck."
No company name on the caller ID or anything. They didn't give any proof or say what the complaint was about. Just that I had to call back.

I never heard of this company before. I don't know what they are talking about. I didn't call the number back because it felt off. The whole thing seems like a phishing scam to me.

Feels like a debt collection thing but I’m not sure. I didn’t lose any money but it was strange.

The number that showed up was 682-232-4095 from Arlington, TX, but the callback number was different. Looked it up online and it's clearly a scam. I just deleted it and reported it as spam through my iPhone. Didn't lose any money but it was a weird call.

Calls saying my file is going to pretrial division
They gave me a case number but I don't even know what this is about. They said if I don't return their call the file would be processed. I haven't lost any money but this is getting really annoying getting calls all the time. They are in GA, USA.

Getting daily calls from a fake debt collector about a case
This same message gets left once a day, or every other day. It's been happening for a whole week now. They are just phishing for information. If you actually owed a debt, you'd get something official in writing. If you ask them to mail or fax you proof, they'll say they already did it and won't do it again. They'll quote addresses at you that anyone can find online.
Do not discuss anything personal with them. Don't fall for it. You have a right to get written proof of any debt, and they have to share it with you in a presentable way.

The caller left a phone number, 833-795-5753, extension 112. They just said "Good Luck" at the end. The call showed it came from (414) 310-9839, which is in Milwaukee, WI.
I never had any dealings with this company. I don't know what they're talking about. It felt really off to get a message like this out of the blue.
