Phone call about fake bills at Navy Federal branches

I got a call from someone who said his name was Kristian and he was from the Navy Federal Credit Union Fraud Department. He said my mobile banking was compromised. I asked if it was legit and he told me to look at the caller ID and it did show Navy Federal Credit Union. So I thought it was real.

Then he put a supervisor on the line named Anthony Mason. Anthony said there was an investigation about tellers at NFCU giving out fake bills to customers. He said I was part of a sting operation and I needed to go into branches and withdraw money. Then I had to give it to a courier at a local Shell gas station. Later he called back and said some of the bills were fake.

I lost $40,000 total. The phone number they used was (888) 842-6328.
