Got a fake "Final Notice" letter about my mortgage at my house
The notice had a toll-free number, 1(888) 788-4779, and said something about a "$199.00 allocated waiver." There was also this part that looked like a check but it clearly said "THIS IS NOT A CHECK" on it. They used my last name and even named my actual mortgage lender, but the person listed on the letter doesn't exist.
I didn't call the number or anything. The whole thing just feels off, like it's made to look official and scare you. I'm reporting it because they used my address and information.
