Investment offer to buy my shares seemed off
I ended up sending them $5,997.20 for the deal. Now I can’t get a hold of anyone. No reply to emails or calls. The whole thing felt strange after I sent the money. I don’t know what happened to my shares or my money.
Letter about Sun Life shares with no follow-up or payment sent
Then I got a second letter around October 2025, with a similar claim. The company asked for nearly the same info. They said once they got the notice of transferring the shares, a check would be mailed within 7 business days. But no letter or money ever came.
I was in and out of the hospital off and on, and I basically lost track of all of this. I found the letter again recently while trying to file my late taxes for 2025 because of my illnesses and surgeries. I never recovered the original shares and had to prove that. I lost $3550 to this.
Stock sold in April still not paid for by company
I've sent them several emails and every time I get the same story, they say they need to confirm the transfer. I don't know what else they need to confirm, the stock is already gone. Their number is (212) 523-0973 and they are at 295 Madison Ave in New York. The email they use is [email protected]. I lost $340.85 on this.
Letter about buying my mother’s shares asked for too much info
So I called them at (212) 523-0973 and they asked for a bunch of personal information about her. I went ahead and gave it to them. I thought it was legit at first.
Now I’m not so sure. I haven’t heard anything back from them. No money changed hands or anything but it just feels strange that they asked for all that info and then nothing happened.
