Got a text about a loan I never asked for

I got a text from someone named Alexis at NexFund. The number was (833) 514-0553. The text was following up on a personal loan request for $40,000.

I never requested a loan from anyone, let alone from this NexFund. It was an obvious scam right away. I don't know how they got my number or why they thought I'd fall for it. The whole thing just felt off from the start.

Getting texts about a loan I never asked for

I got three separate texts from this number. The first one came on 3/17 in the afternoon. It said, "Hi - This is Alexis from Nexfund. I saw your loan request come through and it looks like you're preapproved for $30K perfect for simplifying your finances. Are you available to discuss now? You can also reach us on (833)514-0553. Text End to opt out."

I never requested any loan from them. Then I got another text later that same day, around 5:35 pm. It said, "Hi - Nexfund here. Just checking in to see if you received my previous messages. Is now a better time to give you a call?"

The next day, 3/18, I got another one around noon. "Hi - Can I call you now to go over your $30K personal loan? Or call us at (833)514-0553. If you no longer need it, just let me know. I appreciate it."

It's just weird. I didn't ask for this. I don't know who they are or how they got my number.

Got a text about a loan I never asked for

I got a text from someone named Alexis at Nexfund. It said "Hi *****, this is Alexis from Nexfund. I saw your loan request come through and it looks like you're pre-approved for $30,000-perfect for simplifying your finances."

I never requested any loan from them. I don't know how they got my information. The text told me to call them at (833) 514-0553. They said they're from CA, USA. It felt off to me, getting a message about a loan I didn't ask for.

Got a text about a loan I never asked for

I got a text message that said, "Hi (my name), this is Alexis from Nexfund. I see that you recently requested a loan for $50,000. I was able to get you pre-approved. Do you have a few mins to discuss next steps? You can also reach us on (833) 514-0553. Text End to opt out."

I never requested any loan. I don't know who Nexfund is. It felt off right away. The text came from a different number, (833) 514-0533. I didn't reply or call. I just don't want these random messages.

Kept getting texts about a loan I never asked for

I got a text from someone named Alexis at Nexfund. It said they received my online inquiry about a personal loan and that I was pre-approved for $30,000. I never filled out any inquiry or asked for a loan from them.

The message said to reply STOP to opt out. I didn't reply at all, but I kept getting the same text over and over for a couple of weeks. It's frustrating to get these messages for something I didn't sign up for.

Got a text about a loan I never asked for

I got a text message from someone named Alexis at Nexfund. The text said, "Hi, Patrick this is Alexis here with nexfund. i saw your loan request come through. Looks like you're pre-apporved for $40,000."

I never requested a loan from them. The message felt off. The spacing and typing was weird, like where it said "Reply Stop to opt out" all jammed together. They asked if I was free for a call now about the $40,000. I don't know how they got my number or why they're texting me about a loan I didn't ask for.

Constant calls from Nexfund about a loan I never asked for

I keep getting these calls every single day, at least two of them. It's always from someone named "Alexis" saying they're from Nexfund. They're calling about reviewing options for a $50,000 personal loan.

I blocked the number, but they just use a different one and call again. It's driving me nuts. The messages are always the same, asking if I still need the money or if I have time for a quick call.

I never applied for any loan with them. I just want the calls to stop.
