Texts about a free money offer that turned into asking me for money

I got a text from someone named Camellia saying she wants to give away money and told me to contact her specialist Nguyen. So I texted him and he asked if I wanted money or a check. Then he gave me some numbers to give to verify it was me when the check gets delivered.

He sent me a copy of a check in my name and said it was coming via UPS. But then he said to safeguard the delivery I needed to pay $345. I told him I could only do like $10-20 and no more and that I have no money right now. He said he can delay the check and wait until next week for the money from me.

I already told him to just take it out of the check proceeds. I guess not. If I pay there is no guarantee I will even get a real check or any delivery at all.
