Got a weird job email asking for my bank name and to download a bad app

I got this email from [email protected] asking if I was interested in a job. I couldn't remember if I applied for it specifically because I applied for so many on LinkedIn. I sent my resume anyway.

They sent a link for an assessment test and then asked for my bank name to make sure direct deposit would be compatible. That should have been a red flag right there. Then they wanted me to download a specific communications app.

I looked up the app and it had really bad security reviews, so I didn't download it. I asked if there was another app I could use instead, and they just stopped replying to me completely.
