I got a call from someone saying her name was Anna Richardson. She said she was from the Office of Resolution Coordination with the Tax Mediation Assistance and Release Center. She gave me a direct line at 771-226494 and a support team number at 888-821-4250.

She said she was making a follow up call because there were updated options if I had filing issues or unpaid balances or penalties. Said a quick verification review could help figure out what programs are still available and it only takes a few minutes. She wanted me to call back today.

I don't know who these people are. I never heard of this office before. The whole thing felt off. I didn't lose any money but it seemed strange.
