Bought a cheap book online and got hit with a hidden subscription fee
But two days later, I found a charge on my account for $42.95. It was from them for a subscription. When I checked, it said the subscription fee was originally listed as $0.00 on their site, and then it changed. This wasn't clear to me at all when I was buying the book. The only place it's mentioned is buried somewhere on their website.
I tried contacting them through their phone number, 1(888) 867-0421, and their email, [email protected], about this. I lost $42.95. It feels like a trick.
