Loan preapproval call from Olivewood Financial

Got a call this morning from someone named Charlotte Patel saying she was from Olivewood Financial. She said she works in underwriting and was sending this first thing so it wouldn't get buried. She claimed Trans Union and Equifax finished their mid-July update and my file came back with a preapproval for a $41,275 hardship personal loan.

She said no hard credit check and same day funding. Payments around $456 a month. She kept talking about consolidating everything - Visa, store cards, any high rate balances. Said it would be one payment and lower rate. She mentioned it's a good move heading into the second half of the year.

She gave me a number to call, 833-957-2178, and said the preapproval window closes tomorrow at 3 PM. I didn't ask for any of this. I don't know how they got my number. The whole thing felt off. I didn't call back.

Calls from Charlotte Patel about a hardship loan

I keep getting calls from this woman named Charlotte Patel who says she’s from Olivewood Financial. She leaves the exact same message every time and gives me a number to call her back. The number she calls from is different than the one she leaves in the message, which I thought was weird.

She’s offering a hardship loan. She always calls in the afternoon but her message says “Good Morning” so I figure she’s somewhere overseas. I haven’t called back or engaged with her at all. Just wanted to put this out there.

Voicemail about a hardship loan I never asked for

Got a call on 7/30/2026 but I didn't answer. They left a voicemail. It was some woman named Charlotte Patel saying she works in underwriting for Olivewood Financial. She said she was sending this first thing so it wouldn't get buried under everything else today, which already felt weird.

The message went on for a while. She mentioned Equifax and TransUnion and then said something about a hardship loan for $41,275. I never asked for any loan. The call came from 1-844-947-6336 but the call back number they gave was 1-844-331-8316. I don't know who these people are or why they're calling me.

Phone call about a preapproved loan I never applied for

I got a call this morning from someone named Sarah Thompson saying she was from Olivewood Financial. She said she worked in underwriting and that I had a preapproval for a $41,275 hardship personal loan. She mentioned Trans Union and Equifax did a mid-July update and my file came back with it. No hard credit check and same day funding available, payments around $456 a month.

She kept talking about how I should consolidate everything with it. Visa cards, store cards, anything with a high rate. One payment and all that. She said the preapproval window closes tomorrow Friday at 3 PM and gave me the number 855-758-0637 to call back.

I never applied for any loan or talked to Olivewood Financial before. The whole thing felt like a phishing scam honestly. They knew just enough to sound real but something was off. I didn't lose any money but I wanted to report it.
