Got a call about refinancing and ended up losing $1500

I was looking online to refinance my home loan. This guy named Darien called me from One Main Home Loan. He said I qualified.

He had me send $1500 as some kind of advance fee. The money went out of my account. The phone number was (424) 400-1953 and the email was [email protected]. The website is onemainhomeloan.com and they're supposedly in California.

After I paid, nothing happened. No loan, no help, no replies. I just lost my money.
