Job offer from Oppy turned out to be a fake and cost me over ten thousand

I got this email from a guy named Derek Nance about a Remote Logistics Coordinator job with Oppy Inc. It looked real enough, said they saw my LinkedIn and were impressed. I replied "I'm Interested" like they asked.

Next thing I know they're walking me through this whole hiring process and then asking for money for equipment and training. It all seemed official but something felt off. I ended up losing $10,932.12 to these people. The email came from [email protected] and they said they were in New York, NY. I never got the job and now I'm out all that money.
