Phone call about mortgage protection from someone claiming to be our underwriter

Got a voicemail a few days ago from a guy named Oscar Guizar. He left a message from a different number saying he was the underwriter for our home loan. He had our lender name and our address right. Said to call him back.

I ignored a few more calls but today I finally picked up. He said he had to go over mortgage protection info with us. I told him we already said no to that when we got the loan. He said if we don't go over it with him the case goes to another agent and we'll keep getting calls. I told him we were busy. He said they'll keep calling anyway. I said fine next week and hung up.

Called my actual lender right after. They said nobody is reaching out about our mortgage or any protection plan. So obviously this was just phishing.
