Paid $630 for a puppy from a Facebook group and got scammed
They emailed a contract saying they'd deliver the puppy to my home. Then someone else emailed me, called "Flight Nanny Animal Transporters." They said I needed to send another $900 right away for a special heated crate, also only by CashApp. They pressured me, saying the price would go up if they had to delay and if I didn't pay they'd abandon the puppy at Animal Control.
It felt really off. I checked the original website and it's been three weeks, but they still have the same puppy I supposedly bought listed as available. I lost all that money.
