Got a job offer text asking for my driver's license and personal info

I got a text message about a job offer from Packetail Inc. They said their address was on S. Figueroa St in Los Angeles. The whole thing felt off from the start.

They wanted me to sign documents with my full name, phone number, and home address. They also asked for a copy of my state driver's license. I didn't send any money, but it didn't make sense for a real job to ask for all that personal info right away in a text.

I never heard back after I started asking questions. It just seemed like a way to collect people's details.
