Got a call asking to verify my address, then got a bill for it
I got a call from (855) 972-7533. The person said they needed me to verify my mailing address. I did that, I just said my address out loud. That was it. Then later I got a bill sent to me from pagesite.net. The email was [email protected] and the address on it was 972 Broad St, Academy, NJ. They said because I verified my address, I agreed to a charge. I never agreed to buy anything or pay for anything. I just confirmed my address when they asked. Now they're saying I owe them money. It doesn't make any sense. I didn't lose any money but I got this fake bill.
