Got a job interview email that turned into a weird sales pitch
I got an email from [email protected] about a job interview. They called me for it at 6:30pm and it went on for three hours. They were extremely kind and one guy even said he was in the military. They laid out this whole plan where I had to make 50 calls a day, do one-on-one mentorship, and attend morning meetings for 60 days straight without missing any.
Then they asked me to apply for a credit card. Next thing I know, they charged $12,000 to it. They said I'd get a refund if I completed the full 60 days. But they also said if I didn't meet 100% of the requirements for those 60 days, I would get charged that $12,000. The whole thing felt off. It was supposed to be an employment opportunity but it just turned into this high-pressure situation about money.
