Job offer from Pharmville led to a weird website

I was looking for entry level Pharmaceutical Sales jobs and found a posting on Pharmville.com. It seemed legit at first.

They sent me to this website paragontechusa.com and wanted me to contact [email protected]. The phone number they gave was (857) 626-4198. Something felt off about it.

I didn't lose any money but I'm pretty sure it's not a real job. Just wanted to report it so nobody else wastes their time.

Got a fake job offer from a company I never applied to

I got a text message about a job offer. It came from a phone number, (857) 626-4198, and the email was [email protected]. They sent a link to some website to click on.

The whole thing was for an employment scam. I didn't lose any money, but it felt really off. I never signed up for anything with them or applied for a job there. It just wasn't a legitimate offer at all. Getting a random text like that is unsettling.
