Email about a gun purchase I never made on PayPal
Then this person named Tina Wood said she was from the PayPal help desk and wanted me to download this connectwisecontrol app. She said my IP address was compromised and that connectwise was a "secure" server. Before I did anything I checked the ScamPulse.com scam tracker and saw it was a scam. So I didn't download anything.
The phone number they used was (813) 553-3297 and the website was Connectwisecontrolbusiness app. They had an address in CA, USA. I didn't lose any money but it was confusing and felt like they were trying to get into my computer or something.
