PayPal notice about a gun I didn't buy

I got an email that looked like it was from PayPal saying I bought a gun for $434.28 from Springfield Armory. It said to call 803-740-9707 if I wanted to dispute it.

I don't own any guns and I didn't order anything. The email had a weird address too, [email protected]. That alone made me suspicious. I didn't call the number or lose any money but it felt strange getting a notice like that.

I’m getting the same thing and I don’t have a pay pal account! Who is this they want me to call 813-9341 for a charge of 678.99 USD how do we stop this ? I’m getting this message all the time the area indicates Florida and I have no idea who this it ! How do I report this

Email saying my PayPal payment went through but it wasn't me

Got an email saying my monthly recurring payment of $678.99 was processed from my PayPal account. It said it takes 24 hours to show up on my statement. Then it said if it wasn't me to call them at 813-934-5241.

I didn't make any payment like that. The phone number doesn't look right either. I didn't lose any money but it's scary getting something like that out of nowhere. Feels like someone is trying to get my info.
