Got a call saying I won a prize from PCH, felt like a scam
I got a call from (516) 407-0442. The person said he was David Miller, badge number 93314 from PCH. He told me I was a VIP winner of money and a car.
He said I needed to go to stores like Target or Walgreens and buy Registration Amazon Cards, either black or beige ones. He gave me a list of names to remember: Larry Goodman, Dave Sawyer, Danielle Lamb, and Bill Lowe. The whole thing felt off. I didn't buy any cards or give any money, but it was a weird call that didn't make any sense.

Got a call saying I won millions from PCH and needed to buy gift cards
I got a call from a guy named James Fisher. He said he was with PCH and my number was (914) 512-4852, from Tecumseh, MI. He told me I was the second prize winner for 2.5 million dollars and a car.
Then he said I needed to go to Walgreens and buy an Amazon gift card to cover the taxes. He said a Debra Holland from the state department in Jackson, Michigan would be delivering the prize to me. The whole thing felt off right away.

Got a letter saying I won money and they wanted my social security number
I got a letter saying I won $1,950,000 and to call a payment officer named Mr. Cooper to arrange sending the money. I called the number, 1(866) 393-3722. They asked for my Social Security number and to verify all my information, including my driver's license. When I said I wasn't comfortable giving my SSN, he said he needed it for tax purposes.
He then told me to go to a UPS store and call him when I got there so I could fax the information. I said okay, but I called my daughter first. She told me it was a scam and to report it. I know Publishers Clearing House doesn't call people. They contact you by certified mail, email, or just show up. They only send an affidavit to sign. They never ask for your Social Security number or for any money for fees. This whole thing felt really off.
