Someone called saying I won 8.5 million but needed money first

A man named Bill Cooper called me saying he was from PCH and that I won 8.5 million dollars plus a $5000 a month bonus for life. He said to claim it I needed to pay $500 but I didnt have that so he said I had to pay something so the Better Business Bureau could be made aware to cover taxes.

Then he put his supervisor Roger Montgomery on the line to confirm everything. His number was 254-230-3842. They even sent pictures of themselves to my phone to make it look more real. They also said I would get a 2026 Mercedes Benz that is on its way.

I lost $320 total from this. The phone number they called from is (561) 277-6661 and they said they were in FL.

Phone call saying I won 2.5 million and a BMW but need to pay first

I got a phone call from a guy named Mark Gordenberg. He said I won 2.5 million dollars and a BMW. He said I could pick red, black or white colors for the car. He gave me a badge number 11093NW. Then he asked me if I was married and how old I was and if I was retired. He asked if I wanted public or private delivery.

Then he put another person on the phone. He said his name was David Anderson from PCH. He told me all I had to do was get a registration card because they take care of taxes and need proof. He said I needed to get a $350.00 card from Walmart, Walgreens or CVS so they could make the delivery. I did not send any money. It was just audio call not screen or camera. The website was audio call and address said NY, USA.

Letter with a check for $9,800 claiming my mom won $750,000

My mother got this letter in the mail with a check for $9,800 inside. It said she won $750,000 and the check was to cover her "expenses" for claiming the prize. They told her to call a Mr. Rolland Cook.

The letter said she had to keep everything extremely confidential. That part felt strange honestly. The address on it is 55 Walls Dr Suite 302 in Fairfield CT and the website is pch.com. The phone number they gave was (347) 548-2548.

She didn't lose any money because I told her not to do anything with the check. But it just feels wrong sending people stuff like this.

Phone call from someone saying they were from PCH

Got a phone call from a person saying they were from PCH. They gave me a copy of their drivers license and promised me 1,050,000.00 dollars. They sent a winners certificate and a winners notification certificate. The phone number was (323) 605-1972 and the address they gave was New York City, NY.

It was very convincing. I didn't lose any money but it felt off.
