Got a scary letter about labor law posters demanding money
I got this letter in the mail from PDLabor.com. It said I had to pay $135 for some labor law poster requirement. The letter mentioned if I didn't comply, there could be fines over $16,500 per violation. It really scared me and I almost bought into it.
Then I started doing some research and actually read everything. At the bottom of the paper, on both sides in tiny fine print, it said I have no obligation to buy anything from this company. It said they're not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by any government. Buying something from them is voluntary and not required by any government authority.
The whole thing felt off. It looked so official at first, but it's just a sales letter trying to scare you.
