Ordered a sewing kit online and got old bracelets instead
I saw an ad for a 34-piece sewing kit on the website peachloft.com. I placed an order and paid $22.97. The charge went through on my card.
What showed up was not a sewing kit. I got two sets of worn-looking old bracelets in the mail. The return address on the label was for someone named "Abby Adkins" in Chicago, but that address doesn't exist. The package itself came from a non-existent address too.
I tried to contact them through the email on the site, [email protected]. No one ever replied. The whole thing feels like a scam. I paid for a specific product and received completely different, used junk.
