Ordered two ferrets online and lost almost nine hundred dollars

I think Pet Land Ferrets and Swift Shift Airlines are both fake websites. My husband bought two ferrets for $250 each and they asked for $200 more for shipping. They said we could pay through Chime so he sent them $700 through Chime.

Then we got a confirmation email saying the ferrets were on their way with Swift Shift Airlines. After that we got another email from SSA saying the ferrets need a special crate for the flight because of air quality. They sent a list of crate prices from $499 up to thousands. We picked the $499 crate. My husband sent $300 from Chime or Cash app and then $200 in Apple Pay gift cards like they told him to.

He was trying to surprise me with two ferrets. So we lost $897 from Pet Land Ferrets and $500 from Swift Shift Airlines.
