Website pre-checked a box and charged me for a membership I didn't want

I think their website design is not honest. I bought a piece of workout equipment, that was all I wanted. I did not buy any membership. But it looks like they had a box pre-clicked or something unless you find it and unclick it.

About a week after I got the product, I got an email saying they charged me $98 for a membership fee. I emailed them right away asking for a refund of that $98. They wrote back saying they don't do refunds on virtual products, but they offered me a discounted rate of $80 a year on the app subscription plus an extra month free. They said they would process a partial refund of $18.
