Got a fake job offer from Pinecrate Logistics, they took my ID and pictures

I got what I thought was a job offer from Pinecrate Logistics. It seemed like a real opportunity. They contacted me about the position and everything.

As part of their process, they asked me to send pictures of my identification and some personal photos. I sent them over, thinking it was for onboarding.

Now I realize the whole thing was a scam. There is no real job. They just wanted my ID and my pictures. The person was using the email [email protected] and said they were based out of Jamaica, NY. I'm really concerned about what they might do with my personal information.

Got a job offer from Pinecrate Logistics that seems like a scam

I got a call about a work from home job from a woman named Monique Evans. She said she was with Pinecrate Logistics and that my application was shortlisted. She told me all about the position, which was called a "Cargo Verifier." She said the pay was $4,400 plus $40 for every package I delivered to a UPS, FedEx, or post office. But she said I wouldn't get paid for the first 30 days, and then it would be bi-weekly after that.

Once I accepted the job, they had me take pictures of my ID and a selfie with my ID to get my account started. I checked the website and it seemed legit at first. Then I read the reviews. The reviews on ScamPulse.com all say this company is a scam.

Got a call about a shipping job and they asked for a picture of my ID

I got a call from someone at Pinecrate Logistics. The number was 1(720) 637-9608. They were talking about a job opportunity, something to do with shipping packages from home. They said the email to contact was [email protected] and their site is Pinecratelogistics.com.

During the call, they asked me to send them a picture of my ID. I did that. It felt off to me, giving out my ID like that for a job I never applied to. The whole thing was just them calling me out of nowhere. I didn't lose any money, but it doesn't seem right.

Got a call about a work from home job sending packages

I got a call about a remote from home job opportunity. They said I would be sending out packages to other countries. They sent me a line to give my full name, my address, and my email. They also wanted photos of my ID and a selfie of me with a government ID. It felt off. I didn't give any money but they wanted all that personal information. The website is pinecratelogistics.com and the email was [email protected]. The address they gave was 165 Caprice Ct Block A6 in Castle Rock, CO. The phone number was (720) 383-7929. I never heard back after that and there was no actual job.

I got what seemed like a job offer from Pinecrate Logistics. They wanted me to do packaging and sending work from home. The whole thing felt off from the start.

They had me upload a picture of my ID for what they said was the hiring process. Now I'm really worried about my identity being stolen. That's the main thing. They have my personal information.
