Job offer on Facebook messenger asked for bank info before hiring

Someone named Tim Jacobs from Pivot Tech reached out to me on Facebook messenger about a job. We started doing an interview over text. Then he asked how I wanted to get paid and wanted my direct deposit info like who my bank is.

I answered that and then he asked if I had a local bank. I thought it was getting weird because I havent even been offered a job yet. I said No and he just stopped asking questions and was gone. This happened on June 4, 2026. I never got a real offer or anything.
