They used a fake account to act like someone I knew and pushed me to invest crypto

I got a message from someone who pretended to be a person I actually follow. They made a fake account and added me, and I thought it was really them. They acted like they knew me and then asked me to switch to Telegram.

On Telegram they asked if I wanted to invest and make money. They sent me a link to a website called placoids.com and said I could double my crypto just by letting it sit there. The website looked fine at first but when I started digging deeper I could tell something was off.

I already lost $2,292. I stopped before I lost more. Their phone number is (814) 480-9265 and they have an address at 421 S State St in Clarks Summit PA. I’m upset I didn’t catch it sooner.
