Kept asking for more money after we paid for shipping and insurance

I bought something through social media and the seller shipped it using Priority Express Freights. We already paid $150 for overnight shipping. Then before it shipped, they asked for $400 for insurance. We sent it even though we felt suspicious, but they guaranteed they were legit.

Later the same day, before delivery, they're now asking for another $350 for it to be delivered safely to the house. We don't want to pay that. We asked for a refund and they basically said they can't do anything or give us our money back until we pay the $350. We've lost $1300 total.
