Man came to my door and wouldn’t leave after pushing a flyer through the slot

A man came to my front door and just kept knocking. Then he lifted the mail and newspaper slots in the door a bunch of times, making this loud metallic sound. He walked around to the side of the house, knocked on the side door, and started yelling "sir, sir" at my open kitchen window. I didn't answer. He wasn't leaving so I finally looked at him through the window and told him I'd call the police if he didn't go.

He had pushed an info sheet through the newspaper slot. After he left I looked up the business license on the flyer and it's not valid. The company name on it is Pro Construction Waterproofing and Roofing, with a website proconstructionwaterproofingandroofing.com and an address on 11th Ave in Seattle. I did an internet search and found a police blog about a guy in my neighborhood who got scammed by a construction crew last fall. The blog said the scammers had New York accents. The guy at my door was white, probably under 40, average height, and he spoke with what might have been a NY accent too. We didn't talk long because he left when I said I'd call the cops.
