They wanted to buy our Prudential stocks but something felt off
The whole thing just didn't make sense. They were pushing pretty hard to get this done and I couldn't find any real info on this newyorkdepositary company. No website or anything. We didn't lose any money because we didn't go through with it, but I'm wondering how many people might fall for this. Just felt strange the way they were pushing us to sell.
Letter asking for my social security number to buy my stock
The form wanted a copy of my drivers license, my address, my phone number, my social security number, and my signature. Then mail it all back to them. The envelope had an address on 295 Madison Ave in New York.
I threw the envelope out already but I have pictures of the form and letter. I’m uploading them.
