Email about a job from someone I cannot find on LinkedIn

I got this email from someone named Christie Kovach saying she’s from Publicis Groupe’s talent team. She was talking about a Head of Brand position and wanted to set up a call.

I tried looking her up online and on LinkedIn and there is nobody with that name that I can find. Then I searched the email address she used and saw other people have reported it as part of a scam.

It’s just frustrating because the email sounds real enough but clearly it’s not. No company name on the scam itself I guess but they are using Publicis Groupe’s name.

Job offer email from someone pretending to be Publicis Groupe recruiter

I got an email from someone named Lucy Liu saying she’s with Global Talent Acquisition at Publicis Groupe. It was about a Director of Social Media job. The email talked about KPIs and cross-functional teams and all that stuff.

It looked real at first but something felt off. The email address was [email protected] which doesn’t seem right for a real company like Publicis. I didn’t apply for anything like this.

No money lost but I’m pretty sure it’s a scam trying to get my info or something. Just wanted to report it.
