Letter saying I won millions from Publishers Clearing House with a check inside
The letter said I have to pay taxes and processing fees first because of some International Sweepstakes and IRS law. It said the check was to help me with out-of-pocket expenses so I could make the payment. It told me to call a Josh Glantz at 1-347-430-4197 right after I deposit the check to talk about how to pay for the grand prize. It also said to keep everything confidential. They used real PCH employee names in the letter which felt strange.
Letter with a check from Publishers Clearing House that seems off
The letter told us to call 1-518-239-2239 right away and ask for a claim agent named Paul Smurl. They wanted to talk about how to pay them. There was also another number on there 1-718-880-7599 for Publishers Clearing House sweepstakes. It just felt wrong so we didn't call.
