Ordered a dog bowl and ended up with a mystery subscription

I ordered a dog lick bowl from pupapaws.com and never got it. I was charged $14.99 from Curea.shop for the toy. Then about two weeks later I saw another charge on my debit card for $39.99 from “Pupa Paws 312-2484940 IL.” That wasn’t what I paid for the toy.

I looked it up and found a bunch of reports on ScamPulse.com saying this vendor signs people up for a subscription without telling them. So I went back to the site where I bought the toy and yeah, they had signed me up for something called Pupa Paws+ monthly subscription. I never agreed to that. There was nothing at checkout saying I was signing up for anything monthly.

I still have no idea what this subscription even is or what it does. No services or anything. Just a charge I didn’t authorize. I’ve had this debited from my account for 2 months. I emailed Pupapaws.com and canceled. The following month, same debit except this time it was from Curea.Shop 312-2484940 IL.
