Unauthorized $1.00 pending charge from PVER3 subscription service
I saw a pending transaction in my bank account for $1.00. That always raises a red flag for me, like someone is phishing to see if the account is open. The description on it said PVER3 with a phone number, 888-605-6664.
I called my bank right away to report the fraudulent charge. I went ahead and closed that card and the account, too. When I looked into it more, it seems like it's for some kind of "subscription service." I never authorized any subscription service to take money from my account.
