Call saying I'm on a list to be served court papers

Got a call from this number (973) 221-4541. Woman said her name was Rebecca Ford and that she's a private carrier in the city. She told me I've been placed on her schedule to be served court sealed documents. Said she would be coming to my home or my work to serve them.

She said if I wanted to place a stop order on this service, I had to call 484-403-1887. I didn't call that number. Something felt off about the whole thing. No real court papers ever showed up, and I never got anything in writing about this either. Just a random phone call trying to get me to call back some other number.

Woman claiming to have court papers for me called from this number

I keep getting calls from this number 1(659) 223-3503. A woman who said her name was Rebecca Ford called me. She said she was some kind of private something and that she had court documents for me.

She said she was gonna come by my house or my job to serve me the papers. And then she said she would need two forms of ID from me to verify. That part just didn't make sense to me. Why would someone serving papers need my ID first? Felt strange.

The number is from Birmingham, AL. I didn't lose any money but it was a phishing type thing. Just wanted to put this out there.

Phone call saying someone named Rebecca was serving me court papers

I got a call from a woman saying her name was Rebecca Ford. She didn’t say where she was calling from or what company she worked for. She just told me she was getting ready to serve me court papers.

I didn’t give her any money or information. It just felt strange. No company name, no location, nothing. Just a phone call out of nowhere.
