Fake invoice from Relay Wire for fax service we never ordered
It looks like a real corporate invoice but we never ordered any fax service from them. Our accounts payable flagged it because nobody here authorized it or signed up for anything. They claim it's for searchable archive retention and delivery proof but we don't even use that fax line anymore. Just a fake bill trying to get us to pay.
Fake fax invoice for a service I never ordered
They wanted me to send a check to an address in Dallas, Texas. They even wanted me to put our fax number on the memo line. There was an email for billing questions too, [email protected].
I looked them up on Google and it's pretty clear it's a scam. Never signed up for anything like that.
Fax invoice for a line we don’t even have
The thing is, we don’t have a fax number. The fax they sent it to was actually another local business who forwarded it to us. So it’s pretty clear this is just some fake bill.
Fake invoice for a fax line I never asked for
The invoice number is #INV-6623862 and it says the service period is July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027. They want $389.00 by July 31, 2029. It says something about making the check payable to Relay Wire and ensuring continuous use of the fax line. Makes no sense to me because I never signed up for anything like this.
I didn't lose any money but this is obviously a fake bill. Just wanted to report it.
Fake invoice for fax service our library never ordered
The invoice came from their website relaywire.app and an address on Forest Lane in Dallas. They also have an email [email protected]. We didn't pay it. It just showed up out of nowhere like a fake bill. No idea how they got our info.
Fax invoice from a company I never heard of
The invoice has their phone number (800) 761-0178 and an address in Dallas, 9535 Forrest Lane Suite 114J. Also an email [email protected] and a website relaywire.app. I didn't lose any money but it's just weird getting a bill for something I never ordered or used. No idea why they sent it.
Fax saying we owe money to keep services running
They also say to send all billing questions to their email at [email protected]. Their address is 9535 Forest Lane Suite 114J, Dallas, TX 75243. Their phone number is (800) 761-0176. We didn’t ask for this. It just showed up.
