Fax asking for renewal payment we never signed up for

We got a fax from Relay Wire saying we owed $469.95 for a renewal payment on our fax infrastructure service. The thing is, we don't even have a fax infrastructure service with them. We never signed up for anything.

The fax came from their address at 9535 Forest Lane in Dallas, TX and had an email of [email protected]. I just don't get where they got our number or why they think we owe them money. There was no invoice or contract attached, just this demand for payment.

I'm not paying it obviously, but I wanted to report this because it seems really off. We haven't used a fax service like this in years, if ever. Just strange to get something like this out of nowhere.

Fax pretending to be an old bill for a client I haven’t worked with in years

I got a fax sent to my company fax number. The thing is, I bought that number from a real company, not Relay Wire. The fax was made to look like an old invoice or supplier bill for a client I haven’t worked with in like ten years.

It had their website relaywire.app and an address on Forest Lane in Dallas. Also an email [email protected]. I didn’t lose any money because I knew it wasn’t real. But it’s annoying they got my fax number and sent this fake bill pretending to be something it wasn’t. No idea how they got my info.

Fax bill for service I never signed up for

I got a fax from Relay Wire billing me $389.00 for something called "Professional Fax Infrastructure Service" for one year. The fax says it "ensures continuous searchable archive retention, verified delivery proof generation, and real-time operational routing for fax line xxx-xxx-xxxx." Total baloney. I have no idea who these people are.

They have my correct fax number since they faxed this "invoice" to me. But I never heard of them before and never did any business with them. This is clearly a fake invoice scam. Their address is 9535 Forest Lane Suite 114J, Dallas, TX 75243 and their email is [email protected]. I didn't lose any money but it's annoying getting stuff like this.
