Got a letter about my old 401k and got hit with hundreds in fees

I got this letter in the mail from Retirement Clearinghouse saying they had my Sodexo 401k. I worked at Sodexo over ten years ago, so I was completely confused. I had no idea my old 401k had even been transferred to them.

Turns out they've been charging me monthly maintenance fees for years. I looked at the paperwork—it goes all the way back to June 2021. I was so upset. I went to roll the 401k over and they charged me almost $219 in account closing fees. They never explained what any of these fees were for. It just seems criminal. What a scam this company is.
