Lost $200 on a fake Xbox ad after sending gift card photo

I saw an Xbox for sale on Craigslist and texted the number in the ad. The person told me to buy a $200 gift card and send a photo of the whole back of the card to prove I bought it. So I did that.

Later, I found out the whole listing was fake. I talked to the person who actually lives at the address they gave in Richmond, VA, and they had no idea about any Xbox. When I went to use the gift card code myself, the money was already gone. Someone had redeemed it.

The phone number was (501) 559-5520 and the listing link was on Craigslist. I just lost my money.
