Hired someone by text for a bathtub and got ripped off
But the tub was the wrong size. And then I found out he wasn't even licensed and couldn't pull a permit for the work. He misrepresented himself from the start. So I asked him to take the tub out and just give me my money back.
He refused. He just texted back saying "nobody works for free." So now I'm out $1,370 and stuck with a tub that doesn't fit. I don't know what else to do.
