Rooms being sold at a hotel that has been closed for months

I am the general manager of AmericInn by Wyndham in International Falls MN. Tonight we had a bunch of people coming in real desperate looking for a place to stay because they bought rooms at the Riverfront Hotel here in town. The problem is that hotel has been closed for 8 months now. The heat and water were shut off at the end of 2025.

But rooms are still being sold online. I am telling you, Riverfront Hotel is out of business. People are losing money. I saw at least 140 dollars lost from one person. The address listed for the scam is 1500 US 71, International Falls, MN 56649. It is just not right.
