Getting texts from Robinhood about a code I never asked for

I keep getting these texts from Robinhood. It says "Your one-time 869-123. Didnt request? Call +1(844)985-0647".

I never requested any code. I called the number they gave to report it, and I even verified it was their real customer service line. But every single time I try to tell them I didn't request this, they just hang up on me. It's really frustrating. I just want the texts to stop.

Got an email about someone trying to change my account email

I got an email saying someone tried to change the email on my Robinhood account. I didn't try to change anything. Then I got a call from a number, 888-627-0611. They said they were helping secure my account from the email change attempt. They talked about an investment opportunity to protect my funds. It sounded urgent. I ended up sending $1000. After I sent the money, the whole thing felt off. I tried calling the number back and got nothing. No reply, no help. The money is just gone.
