Charged $24 without seeing the total or agreeing to it

I saw an ad on Instagram on 3/25 for a highland cow plush doll. It was on sale for $9.95 plus $4.95 shipping. I put in my card info and clicked “review order”. Right then, it took $24.68 from my account. It never let me see the final charges or choose to submit the order.

I contacted customer service. They told me their system sometimes changes shipping costs depending on the carrier. I told them I never agreed to pay that much for shipping and I never got a total price before the charge. It felt misleading. I asked for a cancellation and a full refund. They never answered me.

I looked into this business more and found endless scam reports. People’s cards were charged multiple times, they never got the product, no refunds were given, and the addresses were falsified. I had to report it to my bank and close my debit card because of the fraud.
